Places for Dogs and Their People

Friday we had an opportunity to visit Forest Park and see some of the amazing foliage that makes Oregon such a beautiful place.

We climbed Tolinda Trail, one of many in the 5,000+ acre forest in NW Portland. The drizzly afternoon kept the trail quiet and we ran into only two other people, 4 other dogs, and two interesting creatures wading through the leaves and mud.

The trail was beautiful with lush and dense ground cover and a full canopy of overgrown trees.

While it was a great place to take my mutt on an adventure, I do wish parking was easier, the trailheads were marked more clearly, and that there were more dogs and people on the trail to run into.

I would definitely recommend Tolinda to any of my friends.
